Ashley Judd was the one who discovered her mother, Naomi Judd, shot to death in her bed.
Ashley requested on August 12 that the specifics of Naomi’s death be kept secret. However, alarming material has already been uncovered online before her request could be granted.
For instance, Ashley described what it was like to visit her mother following Naomi’s suicide attempt. She revealed that Naomi was still alive when she discovered her and phoned 911 immediately.
Due to the isolated location of Naomi’s home, it took 30 minutes for assistance to arrive. So, while Ashley waited, she chose to lie down next to Naomi until she sensed her mother’s passing.
Now, according to a source for the National Enquirer, Ashley is still battling to get over what happened four months after Naomi’s death.
An unnamed tipster shared:
“She got into bed with her dying mother and held her as Naomi’s final minutes ticked away. She rocked Naomi in her arms and sobbed as she tried to comfort her mom in her final moments on earth. And she prayed for her mom’s eternal soul and that her mom was finally at peace.”
When the authorities arrived at Naomi’s residence, they questioned Ashley about what she saw and what occurred.
Ashley said that she was questioned four times on the same day and that she was unaware that her statements were recorded.
Shortly thereafter, some of the intrusive questions and her responses were published online for all to read.

Similarly, Ashley and her sister Wynonna are reported to be feuding following the death of their mother.
Ashley and Wynonna are reportedly on opposing sides regarding their mother’s death papers and last will and testament.
Ashley and Naomi’s husband, Larry Strickland, wish to keep the specifics of the singer’s passing confidential. On the other side, Wynnona does not mind that it is public.
The latter also desires Strickland’s removal as the executor of Naomi’s estate after her demise since she needs the money.
