Kimbal Musk, Elon Musk’s younger brother, is a restaurant, chef, and entrepreneur.

Kimbal, with a net worth of $500 million, is now the wealthiest celebrity chef, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Gordon Ramsay, a British chef and food critic, has a net worth of $220 million, while Jamie Oliver, the host of “The Naked Chef,” has a net worth of $200 million.

Here, we examine how Kimbal obtained his enormous fortune.

Kimbal Musk, age 49, is the second son of Errol and Maye Musk.

He runs The Kitchen Restaurant Group, a network of restaurants with locations in Colorado, Chicago, Memphis, Cleveland, and Indianapolis that promotes genuine food.

Kimbal is the co-founder and chairman of Square Roots, a technology-enabled agricultural enterprise.

He is also a member of the board of directors for Chipotle Mexican Grill.

In addition to the enterprises he built, Kimbal is a key stakeholder in Tesla and SpaceX, both founded and led by his brother Elon, who, according to Forbes, is currently the world’s wealthiest person with a net worth of $243.9 billion.

South China Morning Post reports that Kimbal holds a 0.04% investment in Tesla and has been a member of the Tesla board of directors since 2004.

Kimbal allegedly sold more than $230 million worth of Tesla shares since the company went public in 2010. In July of last year, he used all 599,740 of his Tesla shares as collateral for personal debts.

Kimbal is also expected to have an investment in SpaceX. Forbes reports that he has been on the company’s board of directors since 2003.

Kimbal also invested in Elon’s startup X.com in 1999, which later merged with PayPal.

Kimbal is not just a chef and restaurateur, but also a philanthropist.

He is the chairman and co-founder of the nonprofit organization Big Green, which has constructed hundreds of outdoor learning gardens in U.S. schools.

Kimbal stated in a 2018 Reddit thread that attempting to change the American food system was the correct course of action.

“Food is my passion, and when I chose to combine my passion with my purpose, there was no other option,” added Musk. “Best decision I’ve ever made.”

The brothers have a 48-year-old sister named Tosca. She is recognized for “Driven,” “The Matchmaker’s Playbook,” and “Hollywood Dirt” as a producer and director.
