Prince Andrew remains hopeful that he will be able to rejoin the royal family.

Instead of repairing his relationships with other royal members from the ground up, Prince Andrew is said to have resumed his bid to become a senior royal member with the assistance of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Sun received information about Prince Andrew’s royal plans after he lost his titles as a result of Virginia Giuffre’s accusations from a source and a friend.

The Duke of York reportedly wants to do more with his life, beginning with regaining senior royal status.

An unnamed friend said:

“He’s thinking about what he can do. He has had discussions with the Queen about what he can do with his life. But there are also wider family discussions.”

Meanwhile, another source stated that the plans were put in place because Prince Andrew had not been convicted of any crime.

The royal is reportedly hoping that by speaking with Queen Elizabeth II, Her Majesty can influence Prince William and Prince Charles, who reportedly do not believe he has a way back.

The news comes months after royal author Tina Brown revealed that Prince Andrew believes he can reclaim his royal duties through his relationship with Queen Elizabeth II.

Brown told 60 Minutes Australia that the royal prince expects to be “rehabilitated,” but he refuses to accept that he will have peaceful years ahead of him.

Brown claimed:

“Andrew believes, strongly, that he can get back. I’m told that this is something that he is obsessed with, that he believes is going to happen. That overdue time he will get back into the mix.”

Prince Andrew’s downfall began when he agreed to participate in a sham BBC interview in which he was grilled about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.

He denied sexual impropriety and his links to pedophile Epstein, who committed suicide at the age of 66. He called all trafficking-related crimes “unbecoming” and later stated that he did not regret his friendship with Epstein.

Following the infamous talk, he decided to step down from public duties for the foreseeable future and faced lawsuits filed by Giuffre.

The victim filed the complaint in New York, accusing Prince Andrew of sexually assaulting her three times when she was 18 years old.

She went on to say that she was forced to have sexual relations with the royal prince at Ghislaine Maxwell’s home in London in 2001. The other incident allegedly occurred at a New York mansion and Jeffrey Epstein’s private Caribbean island.

They eventually reached an agreement, and the situation has since calmed down.
