Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez married again on Saturday in Georgia, just a few weeks after their whirlwind Vegas wedding.
Among those in attendance were Ben Affleck’s longtime collaborator and close friend Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso, as well as director Kevin Smith and actor Jason Mewes.
To match the extravagant light-hued decorations and floral arrangements, all of the guests wore white.
Surprisingly, Ben Affleck’s family members did not attend the lavish event, prompting speculation about their relationship.
Ben Affleck’s wedding to Jennifer Lopez was skipped by Casey Affleck. He was seen in Los Angeles hours before the event, according to video obtained by the New York Post.
When asked why he isn’t attending his big brother’s three-day extravaganza, the Academy Award winner said, “I have other things.”
However, a source close to Affleck claims that he was unable to attend the big bash due to family and parental obligations at home.
While Affleck was not present, Ben Affleck received family support at his wedding to Jennifer Lopez. Christopher Anne Boldt, who had stitches hours before the wedding, did attend.
Ben Affleck’s three children from his previous marriage to Jennifer Garner — Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, —were also present.
To recall, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez shocked everyone when they secretly tied the knot in July in Las Vegas, Nevada. After the nuptials, details about the newlyweds’ “emotional” vows were divulged.
A Little White Wedding Chapel employee Kenosha Booth Portis, in an interview on “Good Morning America” recalled:
“We were getting ready to close, and we had a special guest arrive as a walk-in. I started shaking a little bit. I’m like, “Oh my gosh, this is Jennifer Lopez we’re getting ready to marry!”‘
Booth Portis also stated that Ben Affeck and Jennifer Lopez were “reading each other’s vows, they were very sweet.” She added:
“They both were emotional. They cried to each other. The kids were right there behind them.”
The employee also revealed that Jennifer Lopez donned “a nice, elegant, beige, lacy-type dress’ for the ceremony, noting: ‘It had a train on it. The veil was beautiful. Everything was very sleek and beautiful. She was stunning. She had a beautiful white bouquet, and he had a boutonniere as well, that matched.”
Booth Portis, who also revealed Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez played the traditional “Here Comes the Bride” procession song, stated of the whole ceremony:
“It was beautiful. It wasn’t overly emotional, but some tears were shed by them both. Jennifer looked stunning.”
It’s also been confirmed that British fashion house Alexander McQueen designed Lopez’s sleeveless textured gown, with its beaded neckline and a fit-and-flare silhouette. The wife of Ben Affleck previously shared she’s had the outfit for “so many years” and was “saving’ it” via an Instagram clip shared by her hairstylist Chris Appleton.
