Sea of Thieves recently received an update that included a new adventure that will be available until September 1, as well as bug fixes.
New Adventure
“A Hunter’s Cry” is the most recent adventure to be added to the list. To begin this adventure, speak with Larinna and then proceed to the Pirate Lord. The Pirate Lord will open a path to the Sea of the Damned by using the Veil of the Ancients. Players who complete the adventure will receive an exclusive title as well as a cosmetic reward, which can boost their bragging rights.
The adventure is only available for a short period of time. So, for the rewards, try to finish it before September 1st.
Insider Bug Fix
Insiders were unable to obtain the rewards due to a bug, which has been resolved in this update. Insiders who are eligible for the Sapphire Blade Sails can now be found in the Ship’s Customization Chest.

- Players may encounter ping spikes at random while playing, which can cause rubberbanding or client stuttering. While the most recent improvement was released in update 2.5.3, the team is still working on additional improvements for future updates.
- In high-action areas, players may find themselves firing shots or landing strikes that do not damage their targets. While we continue to deliver small improvements during our regular updates, we are also investigating and identifying additional improvements to the player combat experience.
