Princess Diana reportedly predicted that she would be killed or injured in a car accident two years before her death.
Weeks before the Princess of Wales’s death anniversary, shocking details about her death, including theories, have come to light.
“The Diana Investigations,” a four-part Discovery+ docuseries that premiered on August 18, featured a statement from Princess Diana’s legal advisor, Victor Mishcon.
According to him, the late royal received information about a staged car accident from “reliable sources.” Mishcon also revealed the notes when he met with London’s Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Sir Paul Condon, after her death.
However, discussions about the notes were not made public until John Stevens became the commissioner.
Stevens explained:
“When the coroner announced his inquest, I made sure that letter was immediately given to the royal coroner, who at that time was Michael Burgess and then subsequently became Lord Justice Scott Baker.”
Stevens reportedly paid a visit to Mishcon before his death in 2005. According to the legal advisor, Princess Diana was only paranoid.
However, even an ex-royal chef had heard of this story.
Kristen Stewart, who portrayed Princess Diana in the film “Spencer,” asked a palace chef if “they” would kill her.
The question sparked conspiracy theories, with some claiming Prince Charles was responsible for the high-speed crash that killed the royal princess.
Princess Diana’s real-life chef spoke with The Post about the statement about her car being tampered with to cause an accident.
Chef Darren McGrady recalled a similar statement made by the Princess. He claims she drove the princess to a gas station after she had second thoughts about driving alone.
He recalled:
“She joked: ‘Watch the brakes, Darren. I think someone’s been tampering with them.'”
Meanwhile, Princess Diana’s former bodyguard Lee Sansum expressed concern that she, like her friend Gianni Versace, would be assassinated. He said:
“She asked if I thought his murder outside his home was a professional killing. I thought it was. Then she said something that always stayed with me – ‘Do you think they’ll do that to me?’ She was shaking and it was clear from her tone that she really thought that they might, whoever ‘they’ might be.”
