Lil Tjay’s shooter, who allegedly shot the rapper seven times, might still go free if his legal team can demonstrate that there is no evidence linking him to the crime scene.

In an unexpected change of events, the attorney is claiming that no firearms were found linking his client to the killing of rapper Lil Tjay in Edgewater. Meanwhile, despite this defense, the culprit, Mohammed Konate, remains imprisoned.

Meanwhile, Lil Tjay, a 21-year-old rapper from the Bronx, New York, has began his road to recovery on June 29. However, his true state – whether he’s reverting to his former self or merely starting to converse – is unknown. What is certain is that he has been released from the hospital and may be a part of the Rolling Loud New York roster in September. His name may be seen on the event poster.

When Konate’s mug photo was made public, it was quickly devoured. The prospect of his evading prosecution for this claimed crime might be quite upsetting.

According to TMZ, the rapper Tione Jayden Merritt is now alert and aware, even speaking on his own, and sounds the same as he did before the awful near-fatal gunshot on June 22 in New Jersey.

His breathing tube has been removed by the doctors. On July 4, DJ Akademiks posted a video to Instagram showing the rapper, who overcame the odds, interacting with friends or family through a video chat from the hospital.

The YouTuber captioned the clip:

“Apparently this is a video of lil tjay in the hospital.”

When he regained consciousness, officials wanted to know what happened the morning he was shot.

Gunshots were reported at an Edgewater Chipotle in a residential, retail complex, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office. Edgewater Police Department responded to a 911 call and located Lil Tjay with several gunshot wounds. Antoine Boyd, 22, was located at a gas station about a mile away from the Chipotle.

He received a single gunshot wound, according to authorities. Mohamed Konate, 27, “attempted to conduct armed robbery” against Tjay and two other people present during the rapper’s performance, according to investigators. Konate was arrested on three charges of attempted murder, three counts of armed robbery, and other weapon-related offenses on June 23.

However, because he was also shot, he was hospitalized until he recovered well and is now incarcerated at the famous Riker’s Island prison.
