Sarah Ferguson was apparently pictured inspecting a big Mayfair house. Despite prior allegations that she is struggling financially, a source claims that the mother of two snatched up the property quickly after inspecting it.
According to a source, Ferguson’s Mayfair home must have cost millions of dollars. However, royal enthusiasts were left wondering where she acquired her money.
The source claimed:
“Friends are puzzled over how the royal divorcee – who currently lives in the Royal Lodge at Windsor with her disgraced ex-husband Prince Andrew – managed to cough up the cash for a pricey piece of real estate in one of the city’s most exclusive enclaves, despite admitting she is continually on the verge of bankruptcy and has little understanding of money.”
Fergie’s reported lavish spending follows reports that her daughter, Princess Eugenie, wants to relocate to Adelaide Cottage. Queen Elizabeth, however, would not grant her desire and instead chose to gift the land to Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The informant added:
“Prince William is moving out there, in a sign he’ll soon be in charge of things. Andrew has been stood down as a working royal and William feels he no longer deserves the perk of living in the prime royal property.”
Furthermore, the Duke of Cambridge has little time for the Duchess of York. After all, he is aware that his late mother, Princess Diana, had an argument with Fergie years before she died.
However, the statements of the tabloid should be taken with a grain of salt. There is currently no evidence that Ferguson purchased a house in Mayfair. Even if she had the money, doing anything like this would be a bad image for her and Prince Andrew.
After all, Prince Andrew was compelled to rely on the queen and Prince Charles for financial assistance in order to settle with his accuser of sexual assault, Virginia Roberts Giuffre.
Even though the Duke and Duchess of York are no longer officially married, they still reside in the same house, and there are expectations that they will assist one another.
So it would have reflected poorly on the mother of two if she had purchased a home instead of assisting Prince Andrew financially.
