After crashing her car into a house and setting fire to herself and the property, Anne Heche was in critical condition in the hospital and later died.

There is new information about what happened minutes before the terrible collision.

According to Radar Online, the actress, 53, went to a Venice Beach hair salon and purchased a wig less than 30 minutes before police arrived at the scene last Friday.

Heche is said to have smiled and been “coherent” 27 minutes before the disaster.

At 10:25 a.m., Heche purchased a $125 red-headed wig from store owner Richard Glass. and even shared a picture of herself wearing it.

According to the site, the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a complaint at 11 a.m. in the Mar Vista district, about 15 minutes from the office.

Glass told Page Six:

“I didn’t expect – or suspect – anything at all.”

He also stated that sharing their photo would only serve to commemorate a “so random” visit from a Hollywood celebrity. Glass added:

“She was courteous, friendly, interesting – and coherent. It was a pleasure – she was a delight.”

Heche’s first visit to the studio, which he has owned for 21 years, was also revealed by the business owner.

Police want to know Anne Heche’s blood alcohol level to determine whether she was impaired when she crashed into an apartment complex garage and drove away at 90 miles per hour.

Anne Heche could face a minor DUI hit-and-run charge despite being in a coma if she was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the accident.

Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Traffic Division later confirmed that the celebrity was involved in a car accident before crashing into the apartment building, which caught fire.

According to reports, 60 firefighters worked for 65 minutes to put out the fire and had to remove the “Six Days, Seven Nights” actress from the driver’s seat. She was taken to the hospital, where she remains in a coma and is receiving treatment for her injuries.

A representative for Anna Heche said:

“Shortly after the accident, Anne Heche went unconscious, sliding into a coma. She has a substantial lung damage that need artificial breathing, as well as burns that necessitate surgical surgery.”
