Shawn Mendes reportedly entered the dating world after cancelling his tours to focus on his mental health, which he began by going to the beach and having fun.

Camila Cabello recently confirmed her relationship with Austin Kevitch, the CEO of the dating app Lox Club, so the timing is suspicious.

It’s easy to recall how steamy Cabello and Mendes’ romance was, so much so that fans believe they’ll be together forever.

According to The Sun, the 24-year-old musician has linked his official Instagram account to the profile, which includes photos of himself, a waterfall, a relaxation self-help book, and the song Bandana by Fireboy DML & Asake.

Lox Group bills itself as an exclusive dating club for Jews (and non-Jews) with ridiculously high standards. Before being granted access, members must go through an extremely stringent screening procedure.

This indicates that Camilla Cabello’s new boyfriend is serious about romance.

The website states:

“Our membership committee vets every applicant to decide if they’re the right fit for our community. If accepted, every new member pays a membership fee to ensure they’re joining for the right reasons.”

When Cabello and Kevitch were seen strolling together in Los Angeles in June, rumours and speculations that they were dating began to circulate.

However, their displays of affection and concern for one another on Sunday validated the allegations.

Camila’s new love emerges while her ex-boyfriend, Shawn, spends time in Miami after cancelling his remaining tour dates to focus on his mental health.

Mendes and Cabello began dating after their 2019 collaboration on their second single, “Senorita.”

Prior to this, the pair had known each other for years and had already released a song together called “I Know What You Did Last Summer.”

After initially appearing as close friends, the two eventually reveal the true nature of their relationship.

After two years of dating, Mendes posted a sweet photo of the couple with the caption:

“Happy 2 years my baby.”

In October 2021, the former Fifth Harmony member spoke with Glamour about the strain of their relationship being constantly in the spotlight.

One month later, in November, the couple decided to split and announced their decision on Instagram.

According to a Cabello insider who spoke to E!, Mendes was the one who “started” the conversation because things between the couple were “becoming boring and comfortable.” Cabello was “extremely sad” about the split, but “agreed” it was the right decision. This article backed up a source’s claim to People that the romance “simply fizzled.”

Mendes was also the one who released a breakup song on December 1, just two weeks after the split was revealed. It’s unclear whether “It’ll Be Okay” was recorded before, during, or after Mendes’ breakup from Cabello, but the lyrics indicate that he was singing about the impending split.

It was clear, however, that Mendes has no ill will toward Cabello and will always love her.
