Ok Taecyeon confirmed to star with Jung Eun Ji and Ha Seok Jin in new K-drama called ‘Blind’

2PM member Ok Taecyeon is reportedly starring in the upcoming OCN K-Drama series Blind alongside Ha Seok Jin and Apink’s Jung Eun Ji.

Reports noted that Blind is scheduled to air this year.

Both Ok Taecyeon and Ha Seok Jin’s agency confirmed the reports of their casting for the upcoming OCN series. Meanwhile, Apink Eun Ji’s agency is yet to confirm the casting of the idol actress, saying that she is still currently reviewing the offer.

Behind the upcoming OCN drama, Blind is director Shin Yong Hwi who has directed the likes of Tunnel, Hide and Seek, Bad Guys, and Voice 4: Judgment Hour. Andante writer Kwon Ki Kyung” will pen the script for “Blind.”

The upcoming OCN K-Drama “Blind” will tell the story of innocent victims, ordinary perpetrators, judges, detectives, law school students, and jurors.

2PM’s Ok Taecyeon will take on the role of Ryu Soong Joon who is a violent crime detective. Ryu Soong Joon dreamed of punishing evil and saving the world. Previously, the role for Ryu Soong Joon was offered to former Wanna One member and actor Ong Seong Wu.

2021 has been a busy year for Ok Taecyeon. His popularity was propelled even more after his portrayal of the meaning villain of Vincenzo. Ok Taecyeon also starred alongside Kim Hye Yoon in the historical drama “Secret Royal Inspector & Joy.”

Aside from starring in the upcoming drama Blind, Ok Taecyeon is also cast in the movie Hansan alongside Park Hae Il, Byun Yo Han, Kim Sung Gyu, Ahn Sung Ki, and Son Hyun Joo.

On the other hand, should Jung Eun Ji accept the offer to star in “Blind,” it will be her second drama this year. It was previously reported that Jung Eun Ji is slated to appear in the second season of the drama “Work Later, Drink Now.”
