Jimin was hounded with several plastic surgery rumors because of how he, allegedly, looked so different in the past. One surgeon claimed that the BTS member has had minor work done on his nose to improve his looks.

The unnamed plastic surgeon, based in Beverly Hills, told Digital Music News:
“Quite possibly nothing here. If there’s anything on the nose it’s pretty minor. Sometimes we see patients who have beautiful noses but quite literally want very minor work to create a little more angular ‘sizzle’. But hard to say here especially given the angle of the photos.”
The same source went on to say that:
“Eyes are really hard to tell, maybe, but there are non-surgical methods for getting that look. Again I think maybe this guy is naturally blessed with that Western look this band seems to be going for.”

Critics of BTS Jimin claimed that he does not look natural at all. There were even reports saying that he probably bleached his skin to make it whiter.
Another netizen said that BTS Jimin had adjusted his incisors. True enough, in one of his VLive, the co-member of Jin, Jungkook, J-Hope, RM, Suga, and V revealed that one of his incisors is sticking out and he often hits it with the microphone whenever they perform of practice.
BTS Jimin also shared that 1/3 of his tooth are already “false” as he had to go to the dentist every after he damaged the tooth and get it fixed. Diana Popova wrote on Quora:
“Now, Jimin is looking into making some more changes/improvements, because this incisor seems to stick out more and more and the other big one is getting inside more and more….Looks like Jimin’s jaw is too small for his teeth and it is getting crowded. Jimin has to do some serious dental procedure/surgery to fix it permanently.”

As of the moment, BigHit Entertainment only confirmed RM as the sole member who had to undergo plastic surgery to help him improve his breathing. The agency, in a press release, stated:
“It is true that he underwent surgery. He recently had the procedure and has been discharged from the hospital. For the time being, he plans on resting and focusing on restoring his health.”
BTS Jimin has yet to confirm or deny all these plastic surgery rumors hounding him. So, avid followers of the “Butter” singer should take all these unverified claims lightly until everything is proven true and correct.

JTBC News, on December 29, featured a segment on the increased interest in learning South Korea’s native tongue. Videos of BTS Jimin from the recently concluded concerts in Los Angeles were used while demonstrating his influence on the subject matter.
