BTS J-Hope accused of undergoing several plastic surgeries
J-Hope was hounded with numerous plastic surgery rumors because of how he, reportedly, looked so different before. One surgeon even suggested that the BTS member has had work done on his face to achieve an improved visage.
“There are almost certainly several procedures performed. One thing to note here: this face for J-Hope (I don’t know his real name so we can use his stage name) is not a very typical Asian face,” the surgeon claimed.
“I have studied extensively in places like Seoul, and spent a lot of time in Asia working with Asian surgeons and patients. Very rarely will you see an Asian person appearing like this without considerable surgery,” he went on.
Critics of the “Dynamite” singer stated that BTS member J-Hope does not look natural at all. Some reports even claimed that he possibly had bleached his skin to make it whiter.
Other netizens have also pointed out that J-Hope’s nose was so long and straight, adding that it was a result of cosmetic surgery.

BTS J-Hope’s school photos debunk plastic surgery rumors
However, some snaps of J-Hope during his high school days have proved that his visuals are all natural. In the photos, it was noticed that he was indeed blessed to have a very long and well-shaped nose.
The images also proved that BTS member J-Hope really had a white glowing skin even before he was launched as a member of the super K-pop group.
Avid followers of J-Hope are also convinced that he did not undergo plastic surgery to look better because he looks stunning even before he rose to stardom.
“No, they look pretty natural to me (they look SOMEWHAT similar to how they looked as kids. In other words, of course, your looks will change a little bit or A LOT when you get older). Sure Namjoon apparently had a deviated septum which was fixed in 2018. And Yoongi recently had his shoulder (his labrum was torn) fixed by surgery, but those aren’t plastic surgeries,” Nadia Hathaway wrote in Quora.
Another netizen said they saw no difference after looking at the baby pictures of J-Hope and his BTS co-members Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, V, Suga and RM. “So they didn’t get plastic surgery because plastic surgery makes you look worse, not better. BTS are all still cute and beautiful, so they have never gotten plastic surgery,” Lydia Bradsher went on.
BTS member J-Hope has yet to comment on these plastic surgery rumors that continue to hound him. So, devoted supporters of the “Airplane” hitmaker should take all these unverified claims with a huge grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
