Jennifer Aniston reveals her diet secrets

The former wife of Brad Pitt, previously, shared that consistency is the key. Jennifer usually starts her day with warm lemon water.

She, then, indulges herself in eggs and avocados — or shakes — for breakfast. The “Horrible Bosses” star eats some form of vegetables or salad with protein for her lunch and dinner.

Recently, Jennifer introduced intermittent fasting to her diet plan, which means she only eats during an eight-hour window. “I noticed a big difference in going without solid food for 16 hours. Fortunately, your sleeping hours are counted as part of the fasting period,” she said.

Just like Jennifer, many people followed intermittent fasting to lose the extra pounds at a much faster rate. The popular health trend, for starters, promises to help body composition. It is also said to lower disease risk and can improve brain function.

However, there have been claims that following intermittent fasting could affect one’s social life and could lead to some health issues. Not to mention that it can also be hard to stick with long-term.

“When you finish your fast, you need to pretend that your fast never happened. No compensation, no reward, no special way of eating, no special shakes, drinks, or pills.”

It should be noted, however, that intermittent fasting is generally safe for more people, of course, with the supervision or approval of a physician and careful monitoring of bodily functions.

Jennifer Aniston talks about aging and how she feels about it

Meanwhile, Jennifer candidly shared about how she feels about aging. The “Love Happens” actress said age has no meaning as long as she feels good — and that is something she learned from her own mother.

“My mother was always so healthy and beautifully fit when I was a kid. I’ve always had that as my foundation,” Jennifer said to Vogue recently. “I started to look at my mother, and my grandmother, and the elders in my life. They didn’t have the knowledge we have now about ingredients and exercise. Yes, it’s great to be fit and look great… but it’s about your cells, your muscles, so we can grow old and thrive,” she went on.

Jennifer added that aging gracefully simply means energy and health fueled by an inquisitive mind, proper nutrition and exercise. She said her mom taught her that it is about longevity.

“It’s just sort of been a theme in my life: to enjoy the age I am and not look at aging as a negative, but as the privilege that it is. We all age!” Jennifer stated.
