Speculations about Song Hye Kyo returning to the small screens were put to rest when it was confirmed that she would be reuniting with Descendants of the Sun writer Kim Eun Sook. On Friday, Jan. 8, 2020, some details of the imminent new project of the South Korean actress were been unveiled.

Reports have it that Song Hye Kyo is playing as an architect in an upcoming television series with a working title The Glory. The character is said to be a woman who seeks revenge after she was bullied and physically hurt during her high school days.

Despite this, Song Hye Kyo would find her one true love in The Glory and give birth to a child. Rumors are rife that the character of Song Joong Ki’s former ladylove would use her own kid to execute her plans to get even with her adversaries in the past.

The Glory would have a total of eight episodes. However, it remains unclear as to what channel the forthcoming show would be aired. The official release date of Song Hye Kyo’s next project is still unknown up to this writing.

Should everything push through as planned, this would be the second time that Song Hye Kyo and writer Kim Eun Sook would work together. Most, if not all, fans are aware that the pair used to be part of the 2016 hit series titled Descendants of the Sun, where the actress also met her ex-husband, Song Joong Ki.
