There is no denying that BTS is the most popular and influential K-Pop group there is today. However, along with the popularity, Jimin, Jin, RM, Jungkook, Suga, J-Hope and V have also faced numerous backlash and disparagements from their critics. To protect the image and branding of the Bangtan boys, Big Hit Entertainment previously publicized that it would go after malicious commenters and illicit activities online.

Recently, the talent agency revealed that it has filed new criminal complaints against a number of bashers and smackers. Big Hit divulged that the complaints filed were based on the data avid followers of Jimin, Jin, RM, Jungkook, Suga, J-Hope and V have submitted to the agency, alongside the pieces of information that it gathered.
